REDUCING OUR IMPACT

Our sustainable development strategy revolves around five challenges: initiatives that contribute to social development, the growth of our suppliers, the protection of our customers and the environment, the promotion of healthy habits and the well-being of our employees.

Our goal is to always strive to improve. Thanks to the efficiency of our production model, we can offer a wide variety of styles and qualities, acting and interacting with the world where each project and decision contributes to reduce the impact of our activity in fashion. We work hard to develop initiatives to achieve an efficient use of resources throughout the fashion manufacturing chain, firmly based on a circular economy model that avoids waste and reduces the consumption of resources such as water, energy or conventional materials. We want to ensure that our products are healthy, safe and created in an eco-friendly way.

Our actions in terms of products are focused on:

- Better materials: The choice of materials has the greatest impact, which is why we are pushing for improved fibres and finishing processes. As part of our TALLY CARES program, our designers choose the best materials that guarantee a lower impact on biodiversity and society.

- The Tally Cares hangtag: This is the mark with which Tally Weijl identifies all garments that are characterized by being made of the most responsible and sustainable raw materials or that have been manufactured according to the most responsible and eco-friendly processes. Currently, in the first season of 2021, 25% of all Tally Weijl products already meet this standard, and for the whole year our target is 30%.

- Chemical management: Extensive quality controls and product testing ensure safe and healthy products. Good for our customers, good for the environment.

- Supply Chain traceability: We want to be able to answer the question \"who made our clothes\" at all levels of the supply chain. This year, we are striving to implement a management system to track our Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers.

We are a proud member of Better Cotton. By choosing our cotton products you are supporting our investment in Better Cotton´s mission.
